Winemaking Style
Halbtrocken means "half-dry" or off-dry. The winemaker intentionally halts fermentation (usually by chilling the vats) before the yeast converts all the grape sugar into alcohol. This residual sugar perfectly balances Gewürztraminer's naturally low acidity, rich texture, and intense lychee/rose petal aromatics.
